If you have private health insurance, you may be able to use it towards the cost of chiropractic treatment. At Lichfield Chiropractic Clinic, we accept a number of major health insurance providers and regularly see patients who use their cover for appointments with us. As every policy is different, it is always worth checking directly with your insurer to confirm what your individual plan includes before booking.

My insurance provider isn’t listed; can I still get treatment with Lichfield Chiropractic Clinic?
If you cannot see your insurance provider listed above, get in touch with our team before booking. We may still be able to help, and we can let you know whether we are able to work with your provider from our side. As insurance cover can vary between policies, it is also worth checking directly with your insurer to confirm what treatment is included.
Do I need a GP Referral before booking a Chiropractic Appointment?
You do not usually need a referral from your GP to book a private chiropractic appointment. You can contact Lichfield Chiropractic Clinic directly and arrange an initial consultation, where one of our chiropractors will assess your symptoms and discuss whether chiropractic care is suitable for you.
What Information Should I Bring to My Appointment?
If you are using health insurance for your chiropractic treatment, it is helpful to bring any details your provider has given you, such as your membership or policy number and any authorisation or claim reference. You should also let your chiropractor know about any medication you are taking, existing health conditions and previous treatment you have had for the same problem. If you already have relevant scan results, reports or letters from another healthcare professional, these can be useful too. If you are unsure what you need to bring, get in touch with our team before your appointment, and we can let you know what information we require from our side.
